Adventure Guidebook
The New edition of the Land of Nipigon Adventure guide will be more inclusive and much more extensive than ever.Â
Each community has their amenities and information localized including local trail maps, visit locations, fishing location suggestions and associated business listings.
The new guidebook is more closely aligned and integrated with accompanying GPS enabled smartmaps to help anyone with a smartphone navigate and get to where they want, even if their cell carrier doesn’t work here.
All businesses who want to be listed in the business directory for FREE can do so by emailing me (glenn@nipigon.com) with the business name and phone number/email. Featured businesses get a unique icon on all maps of relevance, highlighted text/icon in the directory and a business card sized ad.
Integrated large scale amenity Maps detail the towns and areas from Thunder Bay to Marathon. Many visit locations are shown and towns have easy to identify amenity icons to tell people what’s there.
In addition to having fishing locations identified on the maps, there is also detailed information on the different species and tips on catching them.
Towns get detailed street maps and business directory in the book as well as in GPS enabled Smartphone app.

The Land of Nipigon Adventure Guide fills a significant gap in our areas tourism infrastructure; it brings people here and keeps them here for longer. It covers all critical objectives of the tourism industry in a highly targetted, sought after product.
The Land of Nipigon Adventure Guide is a comprehensive and inclusive guidebook to everything in the Nipigon area (Dorion, Hurkett, Red Rock, Nipigon, Lake Helen FN, Rossport, Pays Plat FN, Schreiber and Terrace Bay) offers. The Guidebook contains trails, fishing, geology and history information from the area. The guidebook features many different activities, destinations and “Things to do” for people in the area or those visiting.
The Land of Nipigon Adventure guidebook has been in production since 2016/2017 as a digital download and a printed version. Over 3200 guidebooks have been downloaded in the past 2 years, and over 1500 printed versions have been given or purchased in the past 3 years.
All businesses who want to be listed in the business directory for FREE can do so by emailing me (glenn@nipigon.com) with the business name and phone number/email. You can also add to the online directory at https://nipigon.com/add-your-listing/. The nipigon.com website received over 40000 unique users (individuals) in the past year and growing.
The guidebook is a great resource for people who live here and those travelling or thinking of travelling to the area.
The guidebook targets only people already interested in this area and most likely to travel here – they request the guidebook. This gives the guidebook a large return on investment and a huge advantage over regional promotion guides, where only a small percentage of people will visit your business or area.
The guidebook is printed in small blocks so that you can add or change your business information at any time.

Full Page Ad: $350 +hst
A full-page (7.5 by 10 inches, full colour devoted to your business, organization or attraction. Ads in the Digital version of the guidebook will be hyperlinked to the website, email, SMS/text or Facebook page of your choosing.
Business Card Ad: $100 +hst
A Business card ad in full colour 3.5 inches wide by 2 inches tall. Ads in the Digital version of the guidebook will be hyperlinked to the website, email, SMS/text or Facebook page of your choosing. Your business will receive a unique Icon included on all maps both in the guidebook and on the SMartmaps. The icon will be included in multiple locations and consistent across all maps and pages in the Guidebook on which it appears.
Enhanced business listing: $25 +hst
Will appear at the top of the business directory with a larger font differentiating it from standard listings. Enhanced Business Listings in the Digital version of the guidebook will be hyperlinked to SMS/text.
Business listing: $FREE
Your business name and phone number will appear in the business directory under the appropriate category. You must submit your business using the form on this page.
**Municipality/communities: $500 +hst – includes a custom street / local amenity map for your community. Effectively a minimum of two full pages devoted to your municipality or community.

Ads are placed at any time and will be included in each version of the present year’s guidebook, both print and digital.

 A website focused on northern gardening; wild edible foraging includes online sales and distribution for additional Land of Nipigon Branded guidebooks; Mushroom pickers, Berry Picking and Edible/Medicinal Plants as well as articles on gardening in the north and plant/mushroom foraging in the region..
